Before using this method, one needs to prepare a Yahoo Mail account.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"In_Yahoo_account_Generate_App_password_for_third-party_app\"><\/span>In Yahoo account: Generate App password for third-party app<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Yahoo mail and click on <strong>account picture<\/strong> and then click on <strong>Account Info<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select Account Security from the left side and select <strong>Manage app<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In the popup window, select <strong>Outlook desktop<\/strong> and click in<\/li>\n<li>This will generate an app password that can be used when adding a Yahoo account into the Outlook application.
